Do you offer virtual appointments?Yes, we offer both in-person and telehealth appointments. For telehealth appointments, you must be in a private location with stable Wi-Fi to ensure a secure and effective session. If you log on from outside Colorado (for example, if you're on vacation), we will immediately end the appointment, and it will be considered a no-show appointment.

How often do I need follow-ups?Follow-up appointments are typically scheduled every 4-6 weeks, depending on your treatment plan and progress. However, the frequency of follow-ups will be discussed and determined during your initial evaluation.

What if I need to reschedule?If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours' notice to avoid a missed appointment fee. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for a follow-up appointment or 15 minutes late for an intake appointment, you may need to reschedule, and the full appointment fee will apply.

How do I get a medication refill?Medication refills should be requested at least 5 days before running out. We do not provide early or emergency refills. Please make sure to request refills during your scheduled appointment times to. ensure a smooth process. We are committed to safe and responsible prescribing practices, and all medication refills will be reviewed and issued during your scheduled appointments. We do not provide early refills on controlled substances, even in the case of lost or stolen prescriptions.

What should I bring to my first appointment?For your first appointment, please bring the following: • Any medical records or previous psychiatric evaluations that may be relevant to your care. • A list of any current medications you are taking, including over-the-counter medications and supplements. • Any questions or concerns you may have regarding your treatment.

What conditions do you treat?We treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including but not limited to: • Anxiety disorders • Depression • Bipolar disorder • ADHD • PTSD • OCD • Eating disorders • Insomnia • Substance use disorders • Mood disorders If you are unsure whether we can treat your specific condition, please contact us to discuss your needs.

How long does treatment last?The duration of treatment depends on your individual needs and treatment goals. Some patients may require short-term therapy, while others may need long-term care. During your initial evaluation, we will discuss a treatment plan that works for you, and we will adjust the plan as needed based on your progress.

Do I need to be seen in person if I am on a controlled substance?Yes, if you are prescribed any controlled substances, you will be required to have an in-person appointment at least every 6 months. Additionally, you must be seen at a minimum every 3 months for follow-up appointments.
